Amazing coffee table, made in Sweden in the early 1950s. The table top is made from a thick sheet of wood in an irregular kidney shape. Alder root veneer laid out in a beautiful patchwork that brings a map to mind. Cool, black lacquered metal legs give a lightness and a perfect contrast.
