Beautiful “Surrea” vase by Wilhelm Kåge, made in carrara stoneware. The skewed form grows into two openings with the characteristic wavy “Våga” decor around the rims. The fascinating design is a combination of two of Kåge’s best known lines of stoneware, “Surrea” from the 1930s and “Våga” from the early 1950s.
Designer: Wilhelm Kåge Maker: Gustavsberg Year: 1950s Country: Sweden Condition: Very good condition with wear consistent with age and use
