Stunning teak bowl by Johnny Mattsson, made in a birdlike shape with the tall end straining upwards in a long point. Masterfully made with seamless joinery.
Johnny Matsson developed the design inspired by a traditional ölgås (“beer goose”), a scoop for serving beer. His first “beer geese” were more moderate in form but as he continued making them throughout the years, they became bolder and bolder. This large one is a rare find.
