Intriguing hand mirror designed by Estrid Ericson for Svenskt Tenn. Mirror set in a pewter frame, sharkskin handle made from an antique Japanese chopstick case. Decorative details made from brass and bone.

Estrid Ericson traveled extensively during her life and had a habit of collecting beautiful and interesting finds on her trips. Back in Stockholm, she would use these things to create unique items that were sold in the Svenskt Tenn shop. The chopstick case dates back to the early 19th century and was possibly broken before it got a new beginning combined with the functionalist mirror.
