Luxurious brass ceiling lamp by Carl-Axel Acking with three large sconces and a heavy solder hiding the wiring. The sconces have square scalloped rims and are perforated around the bottom edges with small holes.

In 1939, Carl-Axel Acking collaborated with the Malmö-based lighting firm Bröderna Malmströms Metallvarufabrik to renew their range of high-end lighting. The series he designed consisted of lights of various models, including this one, and was represented at the World Exhibition of 1939 with a floor lamp. This model was intended for use both in private homes and public spaces.
