Lovö and Böhlmarks

“Lovö” chairs and console table by Axel Einar Hjorth, designed for NK in the 1930s. They were among the new “sport’s cabin furniture”, made in response to the new right to vacation in Swedish society that led more to acquire summer homes. Striking balance of rustic modernism. Beautiful ceiling light by Bo Notini, decorated with rattan and elegant brass details. Mirror by David Rosén, pewter jar by Anna Petrus, “Relief” jar by Wilhelm Kåge and turn of the century bronze vase by Emy Wahlström.
